Researchers from Charles University’s First Faculty of Medicine together with three private sector firms have developed a new test for flu and Covid-19 which should be available in September.

Charles University’s Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (CPPT) and subsidiary Charles University Innovations Prague hosted the 7th National Knowledge and Technology Transfer Conference in the Czech capital last week.

Charles University hosts a great many events but last week saw one that was truly exceptional: MIT Global Experiences. The conference brought together representatives from academia, science, and the world of venture capital. Special guests included Justin Leahey of MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives.
